<div dir="ltr">OK. There's very little flexibility on the
category pages. We can't do anything to change the format
of the existing one (<a href="http://enil.us/1sK7M13" target="_blank">http://enil.us/1sK7M13</a>).
<div>
<br>
</div>
<div>We can create something autoformatted using <a href="http://enil.us/1re1mHQ" target="_blank">http://enil.us/1re1mHQ</a>. We'll need
to get that extension installed (I'm guessing that it
isn't).</div>
<div>
<br>
</div>
<div>If we create a substitute for the category page. It
will need to have a different URL. This will affect the
search function as I don't believe that we can remove
the existing category page as it's auto-generated. So
both our new page and the old category page will have
search hits. We *might* be able to put a redirect on the
current category page to our new page. I haven't tested
if this is possible.<br>
</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>If we can't create a redirect, we can just create a
pretty top to the current category page that is
formatted similar to<span style="font-size:13px;font-family:arial,sans-serif"> </span><a href="https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Authentication_Cheat_Sheet" style="font-size:13px;font-family:arial,sans-serif" target="_blank">https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Authentication_Cheat_Sheet</a> and
leave the nasty category stuff at the bottom of the
page. Not a great solution but a definite improvement.</div>

Mediawiki format fan.
<div><br>

<div>The category page is automatically
generated. There's no need to add new pages to
it. If you add a new page to the category, it
will automatically appear. The cheat sheet
guide is manually created via the template at <a href="https://www.owasp.org/index.php?title=Template:Cheatsheet_Navigation_Body&action=edit" target="_blank">https://www.owasp.org/index.php?title=Template:Cheatsheet_Navigation_Body&action=edit</a>. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>So if we change the category page we'll
either lose the automatic maintenance of the
links or need to learn how to keep the
automatic listing function available. Also,
the "Category:" URL is special to Mediawiki
and we're limited in the changes we can do (at
least in a straightforward way). I'll see what
I can google about monkeying with category
pages.</div>
