Hey all,

As you may know, over the past few weeks we've been running after-work
funtimes on Tuesday every week, where we get together and do
computers-related stuff. For us, this has been a continual process of
improvement, looking at ways we can create interesting, engaging and
inclusive content for everyone, without it requiring anyone to prepare a
presentation or give a talk.

Next week, we'll be trying something different - we'll be getting together
to look at the "vortex" set of challenges from overthewire.org. More
details are on our meetup.com page, at (
- if you'd like to join in, please RSVP on meetup.com.

Please note:
- This is a practical meetup. Please bring a laptop (with WiFi capability)
if possible. Some programming tools already installed is a plus.
- This is not intended as a "someone get up and give a talk" event, it's
just a bunch of people getting together and working on a common topic.
- It's probably worth looking at the challenges ahead of time.

If this style of meetup works - that is, if people have fun and find it
useful - we will look to host similarly styled meetups in future.

PS. Right now, OWASP Sydney's "W" is mostly silent. Would anyone like to
lead a similar series of meetups, focussed on web stuff? If you would like
to help with this, please let myself and/or Paul know! Same if you have
other ideas for cool projects.
