All,

As promised, we will be having a meeting next Tuesday. Please RSVP here, so that your name gets put on the door:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VL5Q22H

The theme of the meeting is "Javascript Sandboxes". I will be running a presentation on using web workers to solve sandboxing, and running through a demo of a sandbox which implements these techniques (http://bawks.creativemisuse.com/).

I'm happy to blab on for an hour, but I will probably just bore you, so I had the following ideas to break it up a bit:

1. We could run the sandbox challenges from makexorbreak.com ( I had a half arsed attempt at this when it was on - I think this could be fun, especially the homeland div one which I haven't tried yet)
2. Has anyone ever played with JSreg? This is now an OWASP project (https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_JavaScript_Sandboxes), so it would be cool if someone had a look into it and gave a brief presentation on it to compare the differences?

Number 1 would be my preferred option, but not sure how feasible running a workshop style event will be at the venue. Would people be interested in doing something like that? If so, let me know I'll try to figure out a way to run it (I don't think we will be able to have internet access but we might be able to run it locally.) We could do presentations whilst people bash at the challenge so if you are keen to put your hand up to present on JSReg (or other relevant topic) then let me know.
