OWASP Australia Security Conference 2008 - CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS/PAPERS
We are pleased to announce the first ever Australia based OWASP Conference,
and the first OWASP Conference for 2008.
The conference is scheduled to be held on the Gold Coast (Queensland), on
the 27th, 28th and 29th of February 2008.
The venue is the Gold Coast Convention Centre, and we are expecting over 500
attendees at the conference.
A Vendor Technology Expo will also be held to provide an opportunity for
attendees to meet and greet with relevant Industry vendors.
We are now calling for papers/presentations and we are aiming to fill the
two days of the conference (27/28th) with leading-edge Application security
related presentations. There are two primary tracks offering 8 different
sessions each: a technical track and business track.
We are seeking presentations on the following topics:
. Web Services and Application Security
. Common Application related Threats and Risks seen in Asia Pacific
. Business Risks with Application Security
. Vulnerability Research in Application Security
. Web Application Penetration Testing
. OWASP Tools and Projects
. Secure Coding Practices
. Technology specific presentations on security such as AJAX, XML
etc.

Abstracts are due by 30th November 2007
Full submissions are required by 31st January 2008
