[Owasp-portland] FLOSSHack - Remote Access

Hi again,

I don't personally have any real experience with providing remote video access
to events like this. I've used video with Skype and Google video before, but
I'm not sure how well those kinds of things scale when lots of people want to
join and watch/listen in. Also, let's suppose during our session one of our
remote users finds a good vulnerability and wants to present it to the group; in
that case what would be the easiest way to put them up on a projector to
describe the bug? Just stream it to a laptop and hook it up? I doubt video
quality would be ideal, but...

We don't necessarily have to get that fancy with it, but I think having
recordings of our hack session might go a long way towards advertising it for
future meetings.

Does anyone have experience with modern audio/video in this kind of setting?
Basically, I'm just hoping someone will *jump* at the chance to volunteer for
working out these details. ;-)
