It's a very good suggestion. We have actually evaluated recording the
sessions in the past. However, there were multiple hurdles we faced which
require additional volunteers to dedicate their time and efforts:
1. Decent recording infrastructure - Camera, Collar mic etc.. We don't have
these with us at present. We require someone to sponsor such equipment for
2. Trimming content - Our sessions are quite informal; so there may be a
lot of interruptions in the form of questions/discussions etc. Getting a
decent recording of the speakers in such an environment is difficult. Also,
we'll need to get the presentation demos also into the video for better
3. Content processing - To provide the video online, it needs to be encoded
into a proper format. Simultaneously, the audio quality may also need some
work (noise and echo cancellation, volume enhancement etc.) . We don't have
expertise on the best options and tools available in this regard.
If anyone is able to assist us with the above, we can re-look at recording
and hosting these sessions online.
Thanks and Regards,
