I'm pleased to announce to you the release of the beta version of our
open source web security platform. We launched it today at FISL 12:

Vega is written in Java, based on Eclipse RCP, and runs perfectly on OS
X, Linux, and Windows.

Vega is also very extensible, there's an embedded Javascript interpreter
for writing attack modules and grep modules. Nearly all of the built-in
vulnerability checks are Javascript modules.

Vega is 100% made in Montreal, by Subgraph, our web security startup,
and is free software (EPL 1.0).

Download Vega 1.0 beta at http://www.subgraph.com. You can find us in
#subgraph on freenode.

Looking forward to presenting our platform at a chapter meeting. Also,
don't forget to show up at the next MTLSEC.
