Hi Folks,
We are grateful to OWASP community, OWASP WIA, Bay Area chapter and
Bugcrowd for supporting OWASP bangalore chapter in conducting following
events at nullcon India 2018.

1. OWASP Minicon(now called OWASP Seasides) :- A beach side informal,
evening mini conference. We had a great time hearing stories of
researchers, community leaders and practitioners. Concept was highly
appreciated and people enjoyed the talks. It was a first time for us and we
hope to make it even better next time. Shack owner was gracious enough to
let us party every day after the talks.

2. OWASP Kids event:- we organized an event similar to our c0c0n conference
in 2017. However the number of kids who could attend the event was very
less. It was little disappointing that lot of inventory went unused and we
plan to use them in c0c0n 2018

3. Free workshop for Girls from WIA :- We were fortunate to have Martin
Knobloch leading this event and Vandana supporting him. Event was well
attended by ladies and content was highly appreciated.

We did learn few lessons organizing these events. Majorly when we do an
OWASP events along with other conference it helps to keep total control
with us. We did a mistake of leaving publicity to the conference folks
which didnt go well for kids and girls event. However minicon was immense
popularity through word of mouth. We would like to overcome these mistakes
in future events.

I would like to specially thank Travis from Bay area chapter, my
co-moderators(akash, vandana and riyaz), Sam Houston from bugcrowd.
Sandeep and Vaibhav from OWASP delhi chapters. Avkash and his team from
Mumbai chapter. Always grateful to Tiffany and Dawn for your support. Pics
