[Owasp-leaders] web server log data request for code sprint

All,

I wanted to make a wide request for web server log data, specifically
apache logs. We're doing a project this summer for the OWASP code sprint
and it's based on machine learning. We have some data, but would really
benefit from much more. If you have some web server logs you would be ok to
share, that would be fantastic, and a huge help to the project.

A few things:
- We're using apache log format for now. If you have common/extended logs,
or can get the files into that format easily (probably possible), that'd be
great
- We plan to make the data public. At the end of the summer, we plan to
publish our source / test data (unscrubbed). If you have data, and are ok
publishing the analysis, but not the raw data, let me know and we may still
be able to use it.
- *It would be great if we can get the data in the next week or so*. The
code sprint is very short, so time is of the essence.
- We prefer data from real servers (as opposed to honeypots), so the
analysis is effective against "normal" applications. Having said that,
honeypot log data is still useful.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks,
John
