[Owasp-leaders] Follow up discussion: Supporter logo - Brand TM -Policies needed

The problem is not the supporter logo.
The issue is the lack of a TM and the lack of policies around the use of
it, that can trigger brand abuses. And..do we have the staff to handle all
those incoming abuses requests?
I just asked my husband who is a lawyer and his opinion was that this
should have been done BEFORE not AFTER the launch.However, it's not too
late to provide a legal framework and policies around it but is going to
cost money(aka Lawyer)
I rather see money spent fixing other issues than this....

Exactly. I though this was going to be launched when this was defined
properly. I think the logos are cute but let's face it: many people are
abusing the OWASP brand for fun and profit. We should avoid that, not
