And, then I should mention that website restructure & redesign was thought
about more than 2 years ago as well:

There didn't appear to be motivation between then and now to proceed.

This information and link was passed on to the company producing this
report during the "Project/Chapter leaders call", but nothing of the
previous work appears to be mentioned, referenced or considered.

Lots of other information provided during that call seems to have been
swept aside too.

But of course these are just to do with the wiki. The comprehensive RFP
asked about much more, including many systems and processes the staff use:

>> Major issue and conclusions we found at that time:
> - If we redesign the landing web page and content we need volunteers
> familiar with the content in order to re-structure and clean up outdated
> content==>major work and we need volunteers willing to commit
> - We need a technical writer to help with the language and grammar, so
> content is re-written and updated
> - Maintaining new HTML/CSS pages: it will required the need for a
> company with webdesign skills and none of the staff can maintain this as
> opposed a simple wiki, thats was a major issue
> - Wiki should stay because the wiki format is easy for everyone to use
> and maintain given the collaborative/content nature of OWASP which is
> driven by volunteers
> - We need a GAP analysis in order to understand the process of content
> creation and cleaning it up and setup a proper process in place
