Hi Everyone

We have been requested by the South African government's Justice
department to advise them on the redrafting of the Cyber Crimes Bill
(http://www.justice.gov.za/legislation/invitations/CyberCrimesBill2015.pdf).
This indicates that our efforts (and the efforts of others) providing
public commentary to the bill has been successful.

I write this email to request all legal, policy and any other knowledge
within the OWASP community to address this topic further. This bill
infringes on privacy, lack protection for whistleblowers & journalists,
doesn't have enough provisions for infosec research and lack good
technical input.

As a leader of OWASP Cape Town chapter we request all help we can get to
improve our case against the current draft of this bill.

Thanks
Christo Goosen
