Hey All,

Security Shepherd has been around a while, but you may not have heard of it
yet. Shepherd is a web and mobile application security awareness/training
platform. We just released version 2.3 earlier this month.

It's suitable for introducing AppSec concepts to beginners as well as for
security pro's looking to flex their muscles. Shepherd demonstrates a wide
array of AppSec topics through purposefully vulnerable web/mobile apps. The
security risks in these apps are real, with limited exploitability to
protect users and environment. There are no modules expecting a specific
string to complete. If it works in Shepherd, it works in the real world.

Shepherd is packed with features to make it ideal for classroom/workshop
scenarios (Scoreboard, User Management, Layman Explanations, Customizable).

So the next time you're teaching a class, running a workshop or training
somebody in AppSec, think of Shepherd! Please spread the word!
