Good day Leaders!

June is coming and our chapter is ready to roll up our sleeves and make our
hands dirty!

Technation caravan or we can call traveling Geeks will start on June 2015 -
September 2015 we are going to visit Universities in Manila this tour and
seminars pocket events aims to reach out as many universities to propagate
our advocacy for software security visibility and open source software and
also to start the OWASP student membership campaign and also educate the
students the importance of the information security and discuss the about
the risk.

This will be a semar type event with a minimum of 150 attendees.

This event is participated with different tech communities! We will also
provide Booth for flyers to increase our membership...this event is covered
in Radio, TV and print advertising.

And also OWASP MANILA will be in the up coming events listed below. OWASP
Foundation will be the Information Security mentor for this two event.

◆ LINUX DAY on August 22 @ Manila, Philippines this is the celebration of
24th Linux Anniversary.with the presence of FOSS communities, student
organization from different schools.

◆ Software Freedom Day on September 19 @ Bicol University Software freedom
day is a worldwide celebration of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) the
goal is to educate the citizens about the benefits of using high quality
FOSS and good resource for Free Information Security Resource in education,
in government at home and in business.
