[Owasp-leaders] Community Engagement Funding (for projects)

I just spotted this on the other thread about chapter funds, and just
wanted to clarify:

At the moment: *"OWASP Board has allocated $60,000 for chapters and another
$50,000 for projects in the form of Community Engagement Funding, and the
rules of engagement are at
https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Funding#Community_Engagement_Funding_Rules
<https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Funding#Community_Engagement_Funding_Rules>" *

if I am reading this right, this is a variation of the GSD project rules (
https://www.owasp.org/index.php/GSD) with a little more formal 'request to
spend' and a limit of 2,000$ per project and user (with further amounts
available on a case-by-case basis)

Right?

So it means that any OWASP project (that doesn't have funds allocated to
its project) can have access to these funds?

Dinis

PS: sorry if I missed the 'Community Engagement Funding' announcement, but
I was not aware of that decision.
