Dear OWASP Leaders,

This article came across my desk today:

Daily Report: Where to See the Inequality Gap Wrought by the Tech Boom
http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2015/08/17/daily-report-where-to-see-the-inequality-gap-wrought-by-the-tech-boom/

It let to my wondering about AppSecUSA activities in general. I was not
able to find any references to projects like the following from 2013
AppSecUSA on our current 2015 AppSecUSA website:

FIGHT HUNGER CAMPAIGN
http://2013.appsecusa.org/2013/activities/fight-hunger-campaign/index.html

or the 3K for Charity:
http://2013.appsecusa.org/2013/activities/3k-for-charity/index.html

or the Career Fair:
http://2013.appsecusa.org/2013/activities/career-fair/index.html

With this clip from the career page:
To benefit Wounded Warrior Project

OWASP Foundation is facilitating technology providers and industry firms
seeking candidates to fill opportunities worldwide during AppSec USA 2013.

For all attendees, this is an opportunity to meet with prospective
employers for opportunities and apply in person.

For returning United States Veterans, this is an opportunity to meet those
civilian employers that value proven leadership and discipline.

To attend the Career Fair at no charge, REGISTER in advance today with
code: ”TechJob2013“

End of clip

This all led to my wondering if we have any general policies at OWASP about
our activities and events?

Any thoughts? Comments?

Thank you and best wishes.

Sincerely, Bev
