Hi Azzeddine:

I wanted to follow up on your comment below about funding from the
Foundation for your proposed @DEVOXX event in Morocco.

For all Chapter leaders, the process to submit a request and get it
approved is very simple. Fabio sent the link around earlier, and here it is

In fact, Azzeddine has been using this to great advantage for his Chapter.
We have already approved Azzeddine requests for Speaker expenses in May for
$400 and again in July in the amount of $1250 total for travel to the
Project Summit at AppSec USA.

The funding rules do have some 'upper limits'. One Chapter, or one
individual can receive up to $2,000 per year.

Specific to the DEVOXX-Morocco event which I think is now scheduled in
November 2015, we are happy to review a specific request for funding
support. We can support up to $500 for the event as a co-marketing
effort, or we can support Speaker expenses up to $500 per speaker.

So, Azzeddine, when we traded a bunch of emails back in June, you were
still organizing the event. If your plans are firm, please submit a new
request for funding with specifics and we will review & approve per the
normal policy and guidelines.

Best regards, Paul Ritchie

Just to complete I paid 2000 $ USD from my own resources to have an OWASP
Chapter Morocco boot @DEVOXX Maroc 2015.* I wrote different email to OWASP
Global Chapter for a sponsorship and I didn't receive any commitment about
this request.*

I have only 8 $USD in my chapter budget so in theory I have no possibility
to organize any events with this amount. I will continue to use my own
resources, my contacts, etc.
