Q1 2014 has captured the worlds attention around software insecurity.
That is unfortunately GOOD for OWASP and other associations that have
similar missions.

After many years at OWASP one of the efforts I took on was a committee
role with The Council on CyberSecurity
(http://www.counciloncybersecurity.org/) This group like OWASP is a
collection of independent, experts, a not for profit organization with
a global scope committed to the security of an open Internet.

We have been busy beavers over at the The Council on CyberSecurity and
I wanted to post this for your owasp-leader review and comment.

1) Effective Cyber Defense 5.0 Opens to Public Comment
http://www.counciloncybersecurity.org/press/45-the-critical-controls-for-effective-cyber-defense-5-0-opens-to-public-comment

2) Job Competency Modeling for Critical Roles in Advanced Threat
Response and Operation Security Testing. This is complimentary imho
with several OWASP projects including OpenSAMM, Testing Guide,
Developer Guide, CISO Guide and others have a look
