[Owasp-leaders] Amusing little success story from Owasp Denmark

A little success story from Owasp Denmark.

We are getting noticed more and more here and now this happened:

The Ministry of Defence has drafted a new law on cyber security and as part of their process they are asking selected organizations to get their feedback before proceeding.

And guess who they just called? :)

It was an amusing conversation because I tried to explain that because we are a very open organization and work like we do, I would share it with the Danish mail list to hear if they have some valuable feedback. The lady in the other end of the phone was a bit confused by this, because normally they work with organizations that are very structured, have employed admins and are more closed. But she had to accepted it, naturally.

I just received the documents and have forwarded them to the Danish mail-list.

Now we can add this to our belt here in Denmark, which I think is pretty cool actually.

I'm curious if other countries have experienced something similar out there?
