[Owasp-leaders] The Community Vote

Dear all,

As you probably know by now, I'm running for a seat in the OWASP Global
Board.

You could check my main motivations, CV, etc in the OWASP Elections Wiki
below:

https://www.owasp.org/index.php/2013_Board_Elections

However, the reason I'm writing you today is because I have an idea that
would like to share with you and could significantly change how YOU could
contribute to the organisation.

I'm calling it the "Community Vote" and will describe how this might work:

In case I'm elected, I would like to use my vote to represent the voice of
the OWASP Community. So, rather than voting myself for each topic that is
up in the Global Board agenda, I will setup a Google Moderator (or similar)
voting platform so that each member could vote and the majority gets the
winning hand. I would then issue that vote in representation of the OWASP
community. In case of a draw, I will ultimately pick the option that I see
best fit for the organisation.

I will appreciate your feedback about this proposal, and although there are
some details still to be defined on how this platform could work, I truly
believe this initiative will empower the OWASP community in a tremendous
way.

Thanks,
Fabio
