That is exactly what I'm looking for.  I've downloaded the VM, plan on
spending this next weekend testing it out.  Have you heard of/used D at mn
Vulnerable Linux (DVL)?

Check out the owasp vulnerable web app project. Its exactly what you are
looking for and is already done.
