Have just finished a review of the work done by the Open Security Foundation
http://www.opensecurityfoundation.org 

We all look for stats and such... I was most impressed by the information in
the Latest DataLossDB area http://datalossdb.org and the ability to build
search query (better then static
http://www.privacyrights.org/ar/ChronDataBreaches.htm#2009 IMHO )

Good stuff... + they are sister non-profit so check them out and share this
resource with your local chapters lists.

2009 is off to a.... "bang, pop, p0wn, crash for some of the firms listed" -
