There will be an "OWASP day" on Friday March 13 at MITRE in McLean VA,
just outside Washington DC. This is going to be in conjunction with
the DHS (Department of Homeland Security) Software Assurance Forum,
which is Tue-Thu that week at a nearby hotel. I seem to be the
organizer because I wasn't smart enough to leave the room when fingers
were being pointed :-)

Target audience is government and systems integrators (e.g.,
Accenture, SAIC, Lockheed) to try to get them interested in software
security/assurance and OWASP. If you know folks who fall into that
group, have them hold the date - web sites aren't available yet.

I've lined up a few speakers, and am seeking others. If you've got a
talk you'd like to give, or someone you'd like to suggest, please let
me know ASAP. There's no budget from DHS to pay for travel, and I
have no budget to pay you - consider yourself warned :-)

Speakers so far (in no particular order):

Matt Tesauro - LiveCD project
John Steven, Cigital - Software security factory
Jeff Williams, Aspect Security - ESAPI
Dave Wichers, Aspect Security - ASVS
Bob Martin, MITRE - CWE/SANS 25 most common programming mistakes
Tom Brennan, OWASP - Intro to OWASP

Hope to hear your suggested speakers, and see many of you on March 13!
