In my opinion 30 is the maximum for practical sessions.

Above this the logistics (room,desk,computers,.. and internal entropy grow drasticaly.

I guess it depend. More theoretical training can go to 50/60 yes.

More practical training should have 30/40 top, i think.

Agreed.

Let's say 50? Plus the offers we have to make to sponsors?

Best regards.

Carlos, all,

As for training registration I propose we use EventBrite as we did before in similar events. How many places will we be making available?

Thanks,

Dear all,
how are you?

We need to put things back on track in order to open the conference registration.

So there is a couple of decisions that need to be made with some consensus:

1. Price

A1. Training Free (for OWASP members), Conference Paid
Training on the 16th will be free for OWASP members (50 USD/year)
Conference on the 17th will be paid (value?!? = OWASP membership? more?)

A2. Training Free (for OWASP members), Conference Free
Training on the 16th will be free for OWASP members (50 USD/year)
Conference on the 17th will be free

In my opinion, and due to the economical context, I tend to vote on A2.

2. Value/Offer

We need to decide what will we be "offering" to conference participants.
I believe that we already spoke that we will be offering - lunch, coffee-breaks and dinner (on the 16th) to: active organization members, speakers, trainers, sponsors. -> if the conference follows a free model (A2)

3. Agenda

I think the training agenda is more or less progressing (16th). I'm planing on distributing a draft conference agenda (17th) tomorrow, so we can discuss everything.

4. Registration

Where will we handle our registration? I know that OWASP uses CVENT for paid events, but this has a fixed cost per participant. In alternative we can use EventBrite for free, like we did on Samy's event before.

Ok. Basically these are some of the decisions we need to make as soon as possible and put everything online, and open registration as soon as possible.

Thank you so much for your contribution and help on this.

Best regards.
