Liberty Center One invites you to participate in a new chapter of OWASP –
the Open Web Application Security Project. The first meeting will be held
on March 8 from 7 pm – 9 pm at Liberty Center One – please see the
following press release. We are excited to be part of this group and hope
that it will help promote information security best practices.

(Royal Oak, MI February 24, 2012).  Rarely does a day pass without another
company making national news, not by developing a state-of-the-art product
but by becoming compromised due to poor information security. The people
responsible for building, managing, and securing IT systems for businesses
are looking for answers and guidance.

To help the local IT community, a new chapter of the Open Web Application
Security Project (OWASP). OWASP Detroit is being launched, sponsored by
Liberty Center One and led by Josh Little and J. Wolfgang Goerlich. OWASP
Detroit will officially kick off in March and will conduct an ongoing
conversation on improving Web application security, along with regular

The inaugural meeting of OWASP Detroit will be held at Liberty Center One,
