Hello list, I uploaded this morning a fresh Orizon release and 2
videos showing a brief demo of this tool. There is also a slideshow I
used yesterday in security event in Milan to describe Orizon
architecture.
It is in Italian but there are more images than word so I think anyone
can understand which are the key components Orizon relies on.

As you may see from the video, now just the crawling feature is
enabled, our team is working over the modeling engine to improve
information about data diagram and control flow. This will lead in a
full static analysis functionality in the very next months.

I give you the link you can use to download all the latest material.
If you want to just try Orizon , you can download the orizon_1.17.zip
archive, launching bin/orizon.sh after unpacking the archive and issue
some commands. If you want instead to hack orizon you can download the
orizon_src_1.17.tar.gz that is the source code tarball. Please note
that you need FreeCC (http://code.google.com/p/freecc/) in order to
make some changes to engine's grammars.

Next quick improvements will be the support for C and Cobol languages
(I've got freecc grammars for these) and switching the Java support
from JDK Compiler Api to Orizon language pack as described in the
aforementioned slideshow.

If you had feedback, ideas, requests... drop me an email :)

Ciao ciao
Paolo
