I'm a Windows guy so whenever you have an installer for that platform ready,
I'll be the guinea pig and try it out.

I think a virtualenv for python would make the most sense for this. I think
users who will have the most problem installing (no offense) will be Windows
users, as such it might make sense to make an MSI installer.

As for OSX, I've never tested it anyone got a spare system they could try it
out on?

David/Isaac,

One of the things we need to do is make sure its extremely easy to install
Isaacs tool and then run our test cases.

I think instructions on how to install his tool should be provided on his
OWASP project page and we should point to that from our project.

Can the two of you work on documenting that so its REALLY EASY to install
and get running. Once you are done, I will try to follow the instructions
and anything that breaks for me, we can fix again, and hopefully by then any
idiot can get it running :-)

Thanks, Dave

I had some time today to get Isaac's framework up and running. I had some
issues with twisted using the wrong version of python and with zlibc support
missing from python2.6 (at least in default debian), but everything fell
into place once I got those issues resolved. I'll spend some more time
tonight/tomorrow playing with the server components and looking at test case
structure in more detail. Until the new version comes out though, I
consider all this just experimental/educational.

@Isaac Can you provide some additional details on what will be new/different
in the new version? Will the format for test cases be the same? Will you
be able to release an alpha/beta version soon?

Thanks,
-david
