Subject: Chris Wysopal Talk @ Tufts Next Wednesday, March 7th at 6 PM

Hello Jim and Mark,

Next Wednesday, March 7th, Chris Wysopal, Co-Founder and CTO of
ogy-officer/> ) will be speaking at Tufts to my Security class. I would
like to extend the invite to all OWASP Boston members. His talk will be
in Nelson Auditorium in the School of Engineering at 6 PM. I hope that
many will be able to make it. Thanks!

Best Wishes Always,

The abstract of Chris's talk: Binary Static Analysis

Binary Static Analysis is the process of modeling the semantics of a
computer program from its executable form and then inspecting that model
for properties and patterns of interest. Today static analysis if being
used for detecting quality and security flaws in software. This talk
will give an overview of the binary modeling process, the inspection
process, and some examples of security defects that can be detected with
this technique.
