Hi folks

Microsoft announced last month an expansion of their philanthropic gifting for non-profits. I think we should seriously look into this as part of our transformation. Hopefully, it will spur both Backspace and Google to provide more competitive offerings.

Having a single place that can handle e-mail, IaaS, CRM, and provide research spaces for our community is in my view a huge win over trying to maintain at great expense our own effectively on premises solutions in a rack at a provider.

I think it’s time for us to really evaluate how OWASP uses and maintains its IT infrastructure. Many of our firms are already heavy cloud users, and we get good value from not having to maintain our stuff.

thanks
Andrew
