We got some positive feedback on the my.owasp.org site from Christian
Bryant that I thought was worth sharing:

"I think featuring http://my.owasp.org in news releases, documentation and
Meetup invites would help get the word out. Overall the site is a great
resource but the activity from a blog and overall update perspective is
minimal. OWASP has potential to be a thriving and essential foundation and
website resource to the Security community and can only benefit from more
internal advertisement of its tools, projects and documentation."

I concur with his assessment that it's a great tool if we were to use it,
but a lack of activity has caused it to be useless for the majority (even
though Austin uses it heavily still). At some point we (operations team?)
probably needs to make the conscious decision to either invest time in
advertising it as an OWASP social platform or pull the plug. I still think
it's got far more functionality than the equivalent forums on Salesforce.
