This is a really good point.

I am in conflict of interest here since I'm a professional trainer, but
I'll try to speak on behalf of the foundation. I think OWASP should hire
a tech editor or tech content writer and have, maintain and deliver it's
own OWASP content. I wish I could deliver this "free" class with high
quality formal OWASP training material.
