Board Members -

Since tomorrow is April 1, I wanted to give you an update on where we are
operationally with the transition of the global committees to global
initiatives model.

1. Update to Committee Wiki pages - all of the committee wiki pages now
have a header indicating that the Committees have been retired effective as
of April 1 and providing a link to the Global Initiatives Page (for
example: https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Global_Committee_Pages) .

2. Global Committee link has been removed from main navigation bar on left
side of wiki

3. Emails have been sent to all the committees thanking them for their
services and notifying them of the new mechanisms we have in place to
support volunteers and initiatives ( Initiative wiki page with job
listings, Webinars 2 x month, OWASP connector email newsletter to owasp all
every 2 weeks).

4. I have tried to search through the wiki pages for references to the
committees and remove/modify where possible.

*Here are the outstanding places that need to be updated:*

   - Committee mailing lists - Are we leaving these for discussions in the
   applicable subject matters
   - Profit split
   - "A Vision for OWASP" Graphic on Homepage
   - References in Chapter Leader

*Some of these I could have updated the language, but we need to address
the shift in policy (what is out plan now that there are not committees).
Looking forward to hearing any thought on this.*
