[Owasp-board] Summit Questions: Board sponsorship of someone

Going back to the original email to avoid huge budget discussions....

There is $2K in the Top 10 project budget (according to the Donation
Scoreboard). Since this will directly promote the Top 10, does it make
sense to have this project sponsor him with the understanding that priority
will be the Top 10 project?

Subject: [Owasp-board] Summit Questions: Board sponsorship of someone

I have been talking with Ivan Butler (who runs Hacking Lab).

I emailed about him previously - as he's willing to work with OWASP to
provide free, online, hands-on training around the OWASP Top 10 which could
likely be expanded to the entire OWASP Testing Guide. The GIC is currently
working with me on this.

The Hacking Lab came out of this academic work and he doesn't have a source
of funds to get him to Lisbon.

I am going to use some of my Board discretionary fund to cover his travel
and lodging to the summit. He's coming from Switzerland so at least the
travel costs should be low.

(1) Do I just forward him the Maria / Diplomata Tours information? Is there
any other

(2) Is there anything I need to do on the accounting/bookkeeping side of

(3) How to I go about setting up a working session for his training thing?
Do we combine it with the work Dinis has been doing around certification?

(4) Do I need to add him to the Summit attendee page?
