Below is the reply to my phone conversation with Pam from the Mays
Business School at Texas A&M University.

From our conversation, she's optimistic that one of the marketing
faculty will be interested in working with us and some students. The
program would be targeted at the spring semester which starts January 2011.

I'm going to send the following but I'm open to suggestions from my
fellow board members. Please send them ASAP so I can collect them and
forward them on to Pam and get the ball rolling.

Here's the outcomes that come to mind:

* A general marketing plan - currently OWASP has nothing
* A slogan/sound bite/tag line to use with OWASP materials
* Categorizing of our constituencies/audience
* Material to drive membership by type
    - types include: individual, organizational and university
* Documenting OWASP marketing collateral - logo, typeset, colors, etc
    - This may be more graphic design but even a list of what we should
have would be useful

Lets get this Top 10 organization up to 11! [*]

Hey Matt,

It was great to talk with you the other day. Now that I've had the
chance to actually think about this, I see that I failed to ask you
what outcomes OWASP would be looking for from being a marketing
student project. Can be big and broad, small and narrow. Can start
out as one thing and morph into another but it would be important for
me to have 3-5 bullet points to give to faculty members.
