Hi Matt,

You can sign, but I'd like to have a look at the contract first. I'm in the
office all day tomorrow and should be able to turn it around quickly. If
you want to give me a heads up that it's in my inbox, you can always call or
text 410-707-1487.

Subject: [Owasp-board] Can I contractually bind OWASP?

RE: Boeing's donation and the assignment of copyright.

I just heard from Keith at Boeing. The intellectual property people
there would like to know:

"Within OWASP who has the authority to contractually bind the
organization? I need a name, contact information and title."

(1) I assume that can be me since I'm on the board but I wanted to
verify that with my fellow board members If true, I will send them
"Matt Tesauro, Member of the Board of the OWASP Foundation,
matt.tesauro at owasp.org, 512.709.5008"

(2) I wanted to make sure that the rest of the board was OK with be
getting the copyright assigned to the foundation for this donation and I
am not missing any considerations/issues.

Keith at Boeing is the author of a Secure Coding Quick Reference and
wanted to donate it to OWASP. Boeing wanted to assign the copyright to
OWASP as opposed to using the usual licensing agreement we have on the
wiki. Keith has negotiated the bureaucracy of Boeing and they are now
ready to proceed.

I'd like to act fast on this if at all possible.
