Our current cost for Cvent is very high! We pay $5500/year, and that only
includes 750 registrations. The breakout of this fee is:
Annual License Fee (includes 500 Registrants): $3000
250 Prepaid Registrants: $1500
Fee for add'l email address: $250
Fee for add'l Payflo account: $750
The fee for the additional email address is so Kate and I can both receive
emails when people register for an event or membership. The fee for the
additional Payflo account is so we can receive Euros as well as USD. In
addition to this flat fee of $5500/year, we purchase additional
registrations throughout the year. Additional registrants cost $6. We
actually just received an invoice this week for our overage registrants in
June. We went over by 219, so we owe Cvent $1314.
So, if Navatar really does just charge a flat fee of $7k and we can have an
unlimited amount of registrants.I believe this will end up saving us money.
Plus it will save us a lot of time with not having to manually enter
everything that comes in through Cvent into Salesforce (I spend quite a lot
of time each week just updating Salesforce with our new members). I agree
that we need to look more into Navatar to make sure this is the right fit.
I emailed them last week to ask some more specific questions regarding the
payment side (can we keep our current merchant provider, will we still have
the ability to accept foreign currency, etc.) and am still waiting to hear
back.
