I can't make the meeting. my remarks inline

no: should be open to anyone - but only members can vote. people
should of course register up front to size the venue appropriately

Keep it low cost! Is there a company/government oganization that can host this?
Only committee members hotel/travel costs can be reimbursed if not
from local chapter/employee
> 3.      What will the working groups be?
I would set up at least one for each committee (at least those that
show signs of life) and set up some more on active projects, based on
the people that want to participate/drive working groups
> 4.      How many working groups (how many rooms will we need)?
This should be flexible: that's probably not going to make it easy to
nail down a location: one more reason to find a good host
> 5.      Will invitation to the summit translate into admission to the
> conference?
not in my opinion: but if the conference OC supports this: why not
> 6.      What travel/accommodations are we providing?
only board/committee members (see above)
> 7.      Who is the board member taking the lead on the agenda?
I can participate, but don't have the cycles to lead this
