Stan,

The OWASP Board and I would like to thank you for all the hard work you've
done over the years for OWASP growing a very successful chapter.  It's a
difficult volunteer job that often goes largely unappreciated.  You've been
a great advocate for application security and I hope that you'll continue to
stay involved with OWASP and our projects!

Subject: Change in NoVA chapter chair

All - I have been the chair of the NoVA OWASP chapter since its inception in
May 2005. I've enjoyed organizing/hosting chapter meetings. However, I've
observed how other chapters rotate the chapter roles and think it would be
healthy for our chapter to have new leadership to infuse some new
ideas/direction. Jeremy Epstein has volunteered to be our new chair with the
assistance of Paco Hope. Both have been long term participants of our
chapter and I think will do a great job. I think Jeremy/Paco will be polling
chapter members for their thoughts on when to hold the meetings (changing
from Thursday nights), but I have volunteered to make the Booz Allen
facilities open to the chapter meetings for whichever night is selected. 

I appreciate the support everyone has provided over the years and hope to
see you at future chapter meetings.
