After the recent email that was sent by me to the OWASP-LEADERS list
in resp once to Steve concerning the 501(3)c information with a link
to the OWASP Board Meeting Mins., I received several phone calls from
chapter leaders that were interested in what was on the future OWASP
agenda and had some of there own comments.

As an open-community, I think you would agree that it would be very
useful to get a SURVEY from all of our OWASP chapters (119) x its
multiple leaders (who are on the chapter-leaders list). The result
will enable us to tally consensus of where we are, what works and what
areas of concern that we should consider as the "Board" of the
organization. With the right questions including
(Projects/Website/Direction/Industry
Groups/Membership/Conferences/Grants/Roles/Communities/Governance/etc..etc..etc..)
it will allow us to update the organization bylaws and 24 month plan
with milestones for the OWASP Foundation in 2008+. The resulting
statistics should also be made public, kinda like a OWASP Top 10
<grin> so that the Board can "steer" the organization based on its
constituents.

To collect some of the initial feedback, please take a review of
DRAFT: http://fs7.formsite.com/OWASP/form781353403/index.html

I am targeting a survey to be sent to the OWASP-LEADERS list by the
end of June 2008, if we can all take this as a action item due by June
30th, then I can publish the final-draft of the questions for final
approval at the July Board Meeting and then send it out.

You might agree that asking for 5-10 mins of clicking of a chapter
leaders time to complete a survey is extremely valuable, we just need
the right questions and I hope that we can each come up with 5-10
solid questions that address the various areas of the organization
both operational and strategic.
