[Owasp-board] OWASP 'Media' Partner request for ISSA-BE PCI-DSS conferentie ??

Hi Seba,

We’ve done this before a few times with mixed results

In general, unless there’s a specific benefit to *both* OWASP and OWASP
members, I try to steer away from these things. I just don’t want OWASP to
come across as another media whore organization.

However, in this case, because it’s basically all not-for-profit
organizations involved, I think it’s okay. Especially if you think it will
help grow your chapter and get you some exposure.

If they let you distribute materials at the conference, that would be
helpful to OWASP. We’ve done a one-page flyer in the past that just
overviews some of what OWASP is all about.

Please let me know how it works out. Thanks,

Jeff Williams, Chair

Subject: OWASP 'Media' Partner request for ISSA-BE PCI-DSS conferentie ??

Hi Jeff,

ISSA requested OWASP BE to be media partner for the event below.

In return OWASP members get a discount. The other media partner is the local
ISACA chapter.

Can you approve this (and the usage of the OWASP logo in the media partner
section) or let me know why we would not do this?

ISSA is a non-profit organisation, but I am not 100% sure that we want to
link OWASP to this event.

Up until know we have a fruitful relation with ISSA and we do sometimes
organize events together.

Thank you,

Kind regards,
