You need to register for this meet. Since we aren't hosting the meet,

Jacob Appelbaum* is in Bangalore. HasGeek and Tactical Technology
Collective in association with the null — The Open Security Community are
hosting Jacob for an evening of discussions on surveillance and privacy.

Apart from Jacob, our own Abhisek Datta will be talking about APTs, Malware
and more. There is a small workshop on TOR planned as well. So bring your
laptops.




**Profile of Jacob Appelbaum*

Jacob Appelbaum is an independent computer security researcher and hacker.
He was employed by the University of Washington, and is a core member of
the Tor project. Jacob is known for representing Wikileaks at the 2010 HOPE
conference. Jacob, under the handle “ioerror”, has been an active member of
the Cult of the Dead Cow hacker collective since 2008, and is the
co-founder of the San Francisco hackerspace Noisebridge with Mitch Altman.
He has worked for Greenpeace and has volunteered for the Ruckus Society and
the Rainforest Action Network. He is also an ambassador for the art group
monochrom.
