[Owasp-austin] LASCON 2017 - important information

Hello everyone!

The *Lonestar Application Security Conference (LASCON) 2017
<https://lascon.org> *is now 48 days away.  Our many months of planning is
proving worthwhile, and we want to share with you some exciting details.
Please read through the following, and be sure to pay special attention to
the training offerings.

*Keynote Speakers*

We have two great keynote speakers lined up: *Chris Nickerson *and *Georgia

*Conference Schedule*

The conference schedule is posted on our website - see
https://lascon.org/schedule/.  Check out all the great sessions and start
planning which ones you want to attend.

*Paid Training*

   - The training days are Tuesday & Wednesday, October 24-25, 2017.
   - We are offering 1-Day and 2-Day training classes.  Details of those
   training classes can be viewed on the website - see
   - It is important to note that there are separate Eventbrite tickets for
   the 1-Day and 2-Day training.  Each ticket provides option to select just
   one of the training classes, listing only the title of the training.
   - Each training class has limited seating/space, so be sure to register
   for one you wish to attend.

*OWASP Top-10 Training (free)*

   - We are pleased to provide an OWASP Top-10 Training again this year.
   This is a great intro type of training for those who are new to application
   - It will be an all-day training from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Wednesday,
   October 25, 2017, at Norris Conference Center.
   - Lunch will not be provided, but places to eat are within walking

*Conference Registration*

   - If you have not already done so, get your Conference ticket today.

*OWASP Member*

   - If you are an OWASP Member, you can register and receive a discount on
