The HTML5 Summit here in Austin next week had a last minute cancellation
from a speaker who was going to speak from 10:00-10:45 AM on Thursday,
September 15, 2011 about "The Hackers View of HTML5". Here's a brief
description of the talk:

The browser is a likely target for the hacker to probe, since the software
is interactive with web servers and enables client side processing. What
are the common vulnerabilities to be attacked and how does the next
generation of the web browsers impact security? Will IT embrace the new
browsers or will the systems be locked down?
I was contacted by one of the organizers of the conference to see if I
could help find a replacement for this speaker. Is there anyone out there
in Austin OWASP land who has a pre-prepared presentation on HTML5 security
vulnerabilities or could put something together in the next few days? If
so, please let me know and I will pass along the event organizers contact
information. Thanks!

Sincerely,
