Had someone call me today to ask if I knew anyone with password cracking
skills, so I thought I would pass onto the list. This is for a very large
bank and the work is mainly remote with some travel.  Email me and I will
give you the contact details if anyone is interested.

 

Password Cracking

Seeking an experienced professional to assist, develop, and perform complex
password compliance check spanning multiple applications and OS.  Candidate
must be an experienced information security professional with business &
technical acumen.  The candidate should have Password Cracking experience
across multiple platforms. Must be a self-starter and team-oriented.
Candidate must have demonstrated outstanding written and verbal
communication skills, with the ability to translate highly-technical topics
to non-technical business executives. Establishes, builds, and maintains
positive relationships with application owners and information security
executives. .  Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and
resolving problems. Typically 3-5 years of IT & security experience.

Must have skills: 

.         Demonstrated training / experience / knowledge of one of the
following:  C, C++, Perl, Java, Assembly Language

.         Demonstrated training / experience using Microsoft Windows 2000
(Server) and 2003 (Server), Microsoft Windows XP, UNIX, Linux and/or Solaris
Operating Systems. 

.         Experience with Brute Force and Dictionary Hacking

.         Correlate data into standardized reports, develop success/fail
metrics and analysis 

.         Recommend courses of action based on analysis of both general and
specific threats 

.         Deliver reports, briefings, and assessments to customer
leadership, facilitating in-depth technical and analytical 

.         Business Acumen/Relationship Building

Desirable to have: 

.         Distributed Password Cracking Experience 

.         Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC): GIAC Security
Essentials Certification (GSEC), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA),
GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) 

.         Certified Ethical Hacker

.         Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

.         Hardware experience /  CUDA

.         Military, cyber-security background
