Great job Antonio!

Yes, similar efforts are being done. We call this the owasp open source

The ongoing Collaboration between OWASP Switzerland and Yverdon's
university of applied sciences (HEIG-VD) is doing great. A class of
postgraduate students is currently learning webappsec and the syllabus
includes a lot of OWASP material.

This is the second phase of our roadmap (1st year consisted of inviting
owasp chap leaders to show the top 10). The committee showed interest in
offering bachelor-level students the opportunity to work on OWASP
projects as their final practical work. They asked me two things.

1) Do we have a list of projects, on which students at universities
would be welcomed to participate or contribute?

2) We talked about the ESAPI case. A potential project proposal would be
for a student to spend time increasing the implementation coverage of
the ESAPI PHP reference port. Most students in that bachelor program are
highly technical, and I suspect this would result in a win-win situation
(nice line on the resume and an ESAPI port with more parts implemented).
The question was: can owasp in some way officially cover the liaison
between the university and, I guess, the project leader?

As this already been done?
Ideas? Showstoppers?
