Dear all,

Following the exciting discussion launched and the work being done around
the OWASP Academies concept and in the context of the preparation for the
upcoming Summit'11 in February, a work meeting will be held on the 5th, 6th
and 7th of January, in Lisbon, with a mixed format that aims to fulfil
several objectives.

We will have two days (5th and 6th January) of working sessions focused on
the OWASP Academies where the operational model will be discussed with the
intent to prepare a draft that can be presented and debated in the OWASP
Summit'11. On the third day (Friday, the 7th January), and given that a
number of experienced OWASP members will be in Lisbon, we will organize an
OWASP Training Day that will help us keeping the media attention on our
Organization in the period that precedes the Summit, reinforce the activity
of the Local Chapter and maximize the resources available.

The working sessions and Training Day will take place at ISCTE, Lisbon
University Institute, in Lisbon.

It is, therefore, with pleasure and anticipation that I am inviting you to
join us for this meeting and to actively engage in the OWASP Academies
discussion.

Time is running out fast and it would be fantastic if you could let us know
ASAP if you will be able to join us!

The more people involved, the better the chances of having this new area
discussed in the Summit will be and the richer that discussion will become -
that is to say that, although we have a budget available to cover travelling
and accommodation expenses for people attending this meeting, I very openly
ask you to help us minimizing the costs of this event and maximizing its
chances of success by trying to find sponsorship for your participation.

I am looking forward to having your confirmation! Please get back to me soon
and let me know whether you will need OWASP to fund your participation.

Kind regards,

Sandra
