[Global_education_committee] Fwd: Trainer

This is a pertinent question which will pop up more.

Although we do not endorse any commercial training activities, it could be
an idea to have a directory of trainers/training centers that 'claim' they
provide 'OWASP based' training.
A similar idea is happening in the testing sphere: we are investigating how
organisations can claim that they follow the AVSV standard.

ideas ?

We should come up with some sort of statement on this as part of our plans

 Hello Education Committee,

Hope you all are well.

As you can see below, I've been kindly contacted by Timothy McLean from EVP
Professional Services. He is looking for a trainer to teach his clients'
programmers secure programming guidelines.

I thought the Education Committee's mission scope could have room to deal
with this matter. Is that true? If so, please take the issue from now on
otherwise please let me know.

Many thanks, regards,

Paulo Coimbra,

Hello Timothy,

I thank your contact and apologise for my late response. I don't know how
but my software must have interpreted your email as spam and it ended up in
my trash bin. Please forgive* *me as I have only now found it out.

If you are still interested, please let know, as I can put you in contact
with our Education Committee.

Many thanks, best regards,

Paulo Coimbra,

One of my clients in Miami is looking for a trainer to teach their
programmers secure programming guidelines. I was wondering if you knew
anyone you could refer.
