Thanks Paulo for doing this. I looked it over and made some minor updates
but I think this is a good template to start with. If you want to delete the
Common Vulnerability List now, that's fine with me.

Subject: OWASP Common Numbering Project

Dave et al,

I've set the GPC's 'Project About' tab on the OWASP Common Numbering Project
http://www.owasp.org/index.php/Projects/OWASP_Common_Numbering_Project.

I've also renamed the project's main page from "Common OWASP Numbering" to
"OWASP Common Numbering Project".

Also, since all the project's contributors are mentioned in the 'Project
About' tab, I've deleted the "Contributors" one. Please let me know if you
disagree and I will undo this action.

I've created a mailing list (admin by Dave W.) and have taken the liberty of
adding on it every contributor of this project and also the contributors of
the former OWASP Common Vulnerability List Project. Rick Mitchell
constitutes an exception as I haven't his email address - can any of you
send it over, please?

I've assumed the project will use a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike
3.0 license - please let me know if you decide differently.

Also, I've used the text I found in the project main 'Home' tab to written
down a provisional roadmap. Is there any chance you structure it better?

To conclude if you agree, I will delete the former project
http://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_Common_Vulnerability_List since it
seems this new initiative has taken its place.

Thanks,

- Paulo
