Tom,
Yes, I have been working for OWASP as a contractor. In 2008, when I was offered a full time position, OWASP has granted me paid bank holidays and vacancies. Since then I have always tried and chose off-work time in accordance with the Board and, since we have the GPC, with its agreement as well.
Please let me know if you need additional info.
Thanks,
- Paulo

Paulo your not an employee of OWASP rather a independent contractor. Confused, you should detail your work schedule, project plan.
Is this not your understanding?

Board, GPC,
Here in Portugal, Friday the 22nd and Monday the 25th are bank holidays. My agreement with OWASP mentions the right of annually using 10 of these days. Being so, I am counting on being out of work on these dates and ask if any of you disagree.
Thanks,
- Paulo
