[GPC] Google Hacking Project

Dinis,

There was a concern expressed from Google to Tom Brennan when OWASP
sponsored this project - what the nature of this discussion was I
don't know as I wasn't not included but I was "reminded" by Google (in
person) to restrict the release after OWASP EU 2009.

Hence, I agreed that if interested parties couldn't provide a valid
SOAP Search API Key (which had been discontinued by Google well before
I had started to present this project) - then the source code was
prohibited from being distributed to them as it was against Google's
TOS.

Furthermore, we had discussed how OWASP would deal with projects with
these "unique" requirements (i.e. the deprecation of the SOAP Search
API) during OWASP EU 2009.

I was intending to update the project archive and then announced that
it was discontinued during an OWASP NL Chapter Meeting (in July 2010)
following HITB Amsterdam 2010. However, I have wasted the time
allocated to do this in dealing with trolls on the OWASP Chapter
Mailing List for Melbourne, Australia and the OWASP "Google Hacking"
Mailing List.
